Hello, my name is Lucas Dantas and today I will show you how you can setup your Google remarketing tag on your website using Google Tag Manager.
The remarketing tag is responsible to track all the visitors of your website, it tracks demographic data and it also allows you to deliver ads to previous visitors and target people similar to your website visitors with ads. So let’s start!
On your Google Ads account, go to Tools and Settings and click on Audience Manager.

Now, click on Set up an audience source.

Then click on Set up tag on the Google Ads tag card.

Check the first option and click on Save and continue.

In the next screen, choose Google Tag Manager and copy the Conversion ID, and then click on Continue.

Now, let’s go to your Tag Manager container and set this tag.
On your container screen, click on Tags on the left panel and then click on New.

Name your tag.

Click on Tag Configuration and choose Google Ads Remarketing.

Before you paste your Conversion ID, create a Conversion Linker by clicking on Create.

Don’t forget to name your tag and make sure it’s setup to trigger on All Pages, then click on Save.

Now you can paste your Conversion ID.

In the Triggering section, choose All pages and click on Save.

Now click on submit and publish all the changes you have made.

You have successfully setup the remarketing tag on your website! Congratulations!
