Hello everyone, my name is Lucas Dantas and today I will show you how you can connect your Youtube channel with a Google Ads account. But before we start you might be wondering, why would I connect my channel with Google Ads? Here are some of the reasons:
- To get more likes, subscribers, shares and comments. If you are a YouTuber, for example, you can promote your to get more subscribers. If you are a singer or part of a band, you can use Youtube Ads to promote your songs to people who are already listening to the music genre.
- To promote your business. If you a business owner, for example, you can run ads on Youtube using Google Ads to get more customers.
Youtube Ads is one of the cheaper online ad tools out there, even if you get a cost per view above average, you can choose how much you want to spend daily.
Let’s jump to what it matters. Are you ready? Let’s go.
The first thing you need to do is to access https://studio.youtube.com and click on Settings on your bottom left corner.

Now click on Channel and choose the Advanced settings tab.

Then look for Google Ads account linking and click on LINK ACCOUNT.

In the screen that pops up for you type in a name and the code of your Google Ads account.

To get the code of your Google Ads account, go to https://ads.google.com, log in with your user.
If you only have one account, you can see the code by looking at the upper right corner of your screen.

If you have a MCC account that manages several Google Ads account, you will find this information by clicking on the list of accounts.

After filling out the form you should see the Accepted badge right below the Google Ads code.

You also see that your request is now waiting to be approved.

To accept the request, go to https://ads.google.com, log into your account, click on Tools and Settings and then choose Audience Manager.

Then choose Your Data Sources on the left side and then click on Link to YouTube.

In the next screen, you will see the request you have created. Click on View Request.

Then click on Approve.

Congratulations! You have now linked your Google Ads account with your YouTube channel.
